Matty is consistently attentive, listening carefully to coaches and teammates a-like. Always looking for ways to improve both himself and the team as a whole. His punctuality shows his respect and his love of hockey, he arrives prepared and ready to give everything with enthusiasm. Despite being given the nick name Hatty-Matty for scoring the team a few needed hat tricks, Mathew remains humble and team-focused. He never seeks attention for his success, instead giving credit to his line mates and supporting his teammates through encouragement and example. His polite and respectful attitude creates a positive environment and sets a high standard for others to follow. Through his leadership, work ethic, and humility, he represents the true values of hockey and is an asset to the every team member.
