Michael continually shows dedication and discipline in how he prepares for games and practices. He is often the first one to the rink and from the minute he steps into the dressing room he is focused on preparing physically and mentally. He loves the game of hockey and brings a level of intensity that is rare for someone his age. On the ice, he is a consistent and unselfish two-way defenseman who always tries to make the right play. He is determined to improve his skills and hockey IQ and seeks feedback from coaches on how to do so. His ability to break down aspects of his game, improve them, and apply them to his game play is impressive.

Michael is always rallying the team around stretching and warmups before games and practices. It was also great to see his efforts on the ice get rewarded with a goal and an assist over our first few league games this month..
