U11 - U11-2 - U11T2G
JANUARY PLAYER OF THE MONTH - EMMETT STAUBLE
#1 Emmett Stauble
PLAYER POSITION - Goalie

Why is this player being nominated?
U11-T2's player of the month for January is our goalie, Emmett Stauble. As the last line of defense for the team, Emmett regularly comes up with a big save in the key moments of the game to give the team a chance to win. In early January, he played a huge role in the team winning the silver medal at the Redcliffe U11-T2 Grizzlies Tournament, where in the two games he played, only allowed a total of 4 goals against. Emmett is a critical piece of the goaltending tandem on his Rockies team, which currently has the lowest goals against out of all teams in the CAHL U11-T2 Green division. Emmett is a pleasure to coach and has a very bright future between the pipes!
Highlight a specific moment or example that reflects their contribution this month:
Emmett puts in the work on and off the ice to sharpen his skills, whether it is taking extra goalie camps/clinics, which he did over the Christmas break, or throwing a tennis ball off the wall to work on his reflexes, Emmett is always looking for opportunities to get better.
Emmett's favorite hockey moments include winning the league championship with U11-T4 during the 2024-25 season, and touring the Medicine Hat Tigers (WHL) dressing room with his U11-T2 team in January, which included an inspiring speech from head coach Willie Desjardins, and watching the Tigers take on the Edmonton Oil Kings afterwards.
